Nº 94-4, 2022
Overall, this is an impressive collection of case studies and more synthetic papers that is let down slightly (excepting Panzram’s introduction and the chapter by Bernal Casasola) by a lack of comparative perspective. What it does make clear, however, is that there is much scope for future work on connections (and disconnections) between Africa and the Iberian Peninsula in the first millennium.
