Our Ministry
Casa de Velázquez is a French public institution. It is part of the Réseau des cinq Écoles françaises à l'Étranger, under the authority of the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Space.
It also maintains close links with several institutions under the authority of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, including the French Embassy in Spain and the French Institute in Madrid, as well as with establishments under the authority of the Ministry of Culture, reinforcing its position in a network of public players promoting research and creation.

The team
Une équipe pluridisciplinaire, d'une quarantaine de personnes, travaille quotidiennement au service de la recherche et de la création au sein de la Casa de Velázquez.
