Submission of research projects in partnership with Casa de Velázquez
As part of its mission to support innovative projects in the humanities and social sciences and its commitment to cutting-edge international research, Casa de Velázquez is launching an exceptional support program (DSE) for researchers and teacher-researchers working at an institution under the Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR) who are already engaged in an advanced project development process (ANR, ERC, Horizon Europe, or others). The progress stage should enable the Casa de Velázquez to be integrated as a partner in the project.
This tailor-made assistance will enable project leaders to request support from the Casa de Velázquez in the form of:
- Monthly payments for research stays (1 to 2 months)
- Support for the organization of project development workshops
- Short-term research missions
- Delegation of services for tenured MESR teacher-researchers (3 to 6 months)
Projects set up in partnership with Casa de Velázquez will receive scientific support and must focus on themes that are in line with the institution's research policy.
Given the schedule, projects submitted must be planned for submission between September 2025 and December 2026.
The application file shall be submitted as a single .pdf file and shall include:
- A curriculum vitae (maximum 10 pages) listing the candidate's publications, teaching activities, and any involvement in funded projects;
- A cover letter specifying the nature and amount of support requested from the Casa de Velázquez, as well as a schedule;
- The research project (maximum 10 pages, accompanied by a short one-page bibliography), describing the issue to be submitted to the call for proposals and specifying the nature of the partnerships that may be envisaged and the nature of the collaborations that will be implemented with the Casa de Velázquez during the research.
These initiatives may be part of partnerships established individually with Casa de Velázquez, or within the framework of agreements between institutions.
