The School of Advanced Hispanic and Iberian Studies is recruiting members for the 2026-2027 academic year.
The selection of scientific members of the EHEHI is aimed at researchers who are developing a research project in the humanities and social sciences related to the areas of expertise of the Casa de Velázquez (the Iberian Peninsula, the Atlantic region, and North Africa, in connection with the Iberian Peninsula), requiring an extended stay in the Iberian Peninsula. Projects must be submitted by candidates who are completing their doctoral studies or who already hold a doctorate and are proposing a postdoctoral research topic. One or more positions may be awarded each year to senior lecturers who are tenured in higher education and are preparing for a HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches, or accreditation to supervise research). Projects submitted must be in line with the institution's scientific focus.
