Casa de Velázquez
The European Institutes for Advanced Study network has included the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and the Casa de Velázquez in the prestigious European international mobility programme EURIAS (European Institutes for Advanced Study Fellowship Programme).
This international mobility programme is coordinated by the French Network of Institutes for Advanced Study (www.rfiea.fr), mainly targeting researchers in the Human and Social Sciences, and is co-funded (40%) by the European Commission under the Marie-Sklodowska Curie actions (7th Framework Programme, COFUND).
This international excellence programme coincides with the creation of the first Institute for Advanced Study in the Iberian Peninsula focusing on Hispanic Studies at the UAM (www.madrid-ias.eu).
This will put Casa de Velázquez in contact with the university’s Cantoblanco campus located 15 km to the north of Madrid and give it the opportunity to host junior and senior international researchers and grantees of innovative projects focusing on the research priorities defined jointly by these two institutions.
Applications must be submitted through the EURIAS programme web page before Wednesday 7 June 2017 at 18:00 (Madrid time).
