The library is currently closed for a period of approximately 18 months from 1 September 2009, due to work retrofitting and modernization of the main building of the Casa de Velázquez.
Presentation
The Casa de Velázquez library is a research library specialising in the area of Hispanic and Iberian culture. It contains 104,000 books and 1,700 journal titles (1,115 current) embracing the areas of Humanities and Fine Art.
